Yay!  I'm so excited by their progress that I want to jump up and make it a group hug *contemplates the safety of actually trying that*  It seems that it just might be possible for a Snape-Sneyd hybrid to emerge after all.  And even though he didn't come to her room, and she doesn't have a plan, and he said he loved her in code, I am confident they are going to get there.  Can't wait to see the sparks fly.  Loving this, as always!

This just gets better and better.  Hermione's friends are hilarious.  I can't believe they asked him to do the speech.  No wait, I can believe that they asked him.  I just never thought he'd actually do it!I think in RL, it makes him all the more enticing to know that he wants to be appropriate in terms of a relationship with his student.  *psst... Severus.  This is fanfic, not RL.  You can do anything with anyone at anytime.  We don't judge.  A little drooling, and melting, and fanning of selves, but no judging.*  What is he waiting for?!?!Oh, I hope he doesn't look into her mind, because if he sees what expectations she has for him in the bedroom, he will definitely run away screaming.Can't wait for some Grimmauld Place action!

Right.....yes it would be Katrina, my best mate as she really was a bit witchy. I loved her though......in a very platonic, non-lesbian way you understand. Christ, we were man mad. But I digress. Hermione really did the only decent thing after making such a dreadful comment and I'm glad that it was mutually beneficial to both of them.  You do have a lovely writing style that flows easily but has a delightful soupcon of just being a little tongue-in-cheek. I love it. Oh yes, the second bit of spookiness that really toppled me when the three suspects were named is that my forenames are (drum roll) Morag Alicia! Not many of us about even when I grew up in 60s/70s Scotland and certainly not when I moved to Manchester. So imagine how good I felt when on my first reading of Philosopher's Stone, not only was there an Alicia Spinnet but a Morag McDougall too. Christ I might get a mug with my name on it at last. You are such an effing tease :)  I am officially going to rename this chapter "Dipping A Little Toe Into The Pool Of Temptation."I did like the Dumbledore conversation that precipitated the kiss.  They've been dancing around the issue for so long, it was going to take something extra to spur them into action.  I, like Hermione, was hoping for a bit more action, but hey, baby steps are good.  At least they love each other, whether they admit it any time soon, or not.I was afraid in the beginning of this story that there was no mystery wizard or witch at this school, but that Kingsley (and who knows what other coconspirators) recognized that they would make a good pair, but that they would never come to that unless forced into close proximity.  So he made up this whole thing.  I say I was afraid, not because it would make for a bad story, but was afraid of what these two would do to Kingsley if they found out.  Anyway, will be anxiously awaiting more.

Ah. That’s the trick. Pretend they are Snape’s balls you are hitting over the net. If he ever mentions this at Hogwarts, it’ll be canaries for him!Boy is she a force to be reckoned with!  Her friends are so intrigued as to the nature of her relationship with Mr. Sneyd, and I think it only makes it worse that she is so nonchalant every time it comes up.  I'm surprised that they haven't tried to follow her to see if there is anything to talk about.I love it when I finish a chapter and there is another one at the ready for my viewing pleasure.  This should become a habit!
