This is a full-length Book Seven fic. Cliffhangers and unexpected twists abound, but don't look for beloved characters to die tragically before your very eyes--Fawkes_07 is all about redemption. Written for young readers but hopefully fun for all.
I'm printing out a version for my kids in book format--I even found all the right fonts and everything. Hence the "artwork" in the chapter headings. What can I say, I'm more of a ceramics person than a drawing person.
Can I note with pride that "Heirs of Slytherin" was just chosen as a Featured Story on MNFF? *glows*

one question , if Sirius isn't dead, why would Kreacher have obeyed Harry? Perhaps he is half -dead which is why Kreacher only wanted to half obey Harry! LOL

Hmmm. Well, I think Sirius appear dead according to the standards of conventional magic, because Harry did inherit the house and all. But just because they can't DETECT him being alive doesn't necessarily mean he isn't alive.
Tura sounded like Tonks in that chapter!

Cool! Sometimes I get "Mary Sue" complaints, but I was really shooting for another Weird Dark Arts Professor...
Bravo! Well done! This is terrific. I would go back and change some of your wording on the previous chapter's notes. For your own legal protection, you know.

Well, again, I can't imagine anyone complaining that 15 people are sending me money to pay for a "vanity printing" of a story that's displayed in full on the Internet. *shrugs* Selling it to a publisher, sure...but not a handful of copies.
Oh, the visual of Tonks with the chainsaw! Too cool for words! Sirius needs to find love too. I like the way Viktor is protective of Hermione. You are doing sooooooooooooooo great! Count me in on the copies. But if JKR grts word that someone is charging there might be trouble. I thoroughly believe in sending you a "donation" for your kids' college fund, however. Send me a message through my screenname. Thabks for the great story. Love it. I caught up with where I had left off last year and am deliriously happy with where you have gone with this.

Thanks! I'm not too worried about JKR. She has bigger fish to fry at the moment. Besides, the story is free on the Web. I'm just inviting people to pay for a printout of it--albeit a nice printout. It's not like I'll be printing 50,000 copies and sending them to bookstores.

I think we would all be willing to pay you for the ARTWORK; and if the story comes with it so much the better. Tell me where to send money for the lovely artwork andI will get it off t you ASAP. I had printed a lot of this off las year and forgotten about it for months.

LOL, that's true, that's a good take on it. Well, I have to get the whole thing paginated first, then I can get some estimates on the printing. I'll post more info as it comes in.
How old is Tura? She speaks as if she is not much older than Harry, but if there is only one legilimagus per generation then she must be older.

Not necessarily, it just depends on when the last one died. You'll find out her exact age in about 18 chapters, but she isn't much older than him, no.

Brilliant, brilliant chapter. Loved every second of it. The ending was especially good. Loved how Lucius joined in to save his son. Can't wait for more. Seriously good work.

*wipes brow* Glad to hear it. I was afraid that would be too sappy. I wanted Lucius to be more self-serving than evil--he's not afraid to "do good" if it will be more beneficial that being bad.
Smart bird knew he had to give another feather to balance the one that was taken.

That was a great chapter. I really liked the details. And I love the ex-weres running around sniffing flowers and playing with Luna's hair.

Right on! I tried to not be quite so Anglocentric in this fic.
Almost feel sorry for the Dursleys ... I said ALMOST. Bet Harry gets the blame. Brilliant description.
