This was a sweet and melancholy chapter. Their loneliness makes me want to cuddle them both. Though I expect I'd get hexed for it. Twice.

I love this genre and it is so easy to read. We get the full impact of their thoughts without getting bogged down in their surroundings. Excellent!

Simon making the oil and the bath salts is an incredibly familiar act, and I love it. These two bat their letters back and forth like a cats with a toy mouse, and I can't wait til Hermione cracks and must meet Simon.

At some point she will undoubtedly want to meet Simon. And if he's not more carfull she may even guess who Simon really is, hence her desire to meet him. I shall wait the next installement very impatiently.

I love a slightly pouting Severus, sorry Simon. Honestly he is asking talking to a bird. He is also jealous of ... no one. And triumphant over ... still no one. Of course he doesn't know it. I wonder what will bring them to decide to meet one another. And how shock she will be when she'll learn who he really is.And last but not least: Hourray
